IFDM speaks Chinese

A debut on several different levels for the new edition of IFDM, Shanghai on Design. The third spin-off of the year is entirely dedicated to an international event and features novelties, protagonists and concurrent events. Following the Special editions dedicated to the London Design Festival and Dubai Design Week, Shanghai on Design looks even more to East, to the land of the Dragon, hosting this year the second edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai.
Media partner of the event, it tells in 36 pages the most interesting stories, spoken in just one language, Chinese, with a wider focus on the entire market.
The President of the fair, Claudio Luti, has done the honors, while the managers of eleven brands of design and Italian luxury furnishings earn the most interesting spaces, through direct testimonies of the Chinese market, distribution strategies in the country and renewed stylistic tendencies; and again, a review of the protagonists at the show and the young talents showcased at the SaloneSatellite, and a tour of newly inaugurated showrooms and exhibition malls with a strong attractive, in the heart of newly-emerged neighborhoods designed by the studio Foster+Partners, with a final focus on places of great cultural interest where design can be lived, between art, food and fashion.
