Arper, a year of recognition

They’re coming in from Italy, Germany and the USA. Prizes and awards which celebrate not just high aesthetic and functional quality design, but also the company’s tireless research into the field of design and trends. Arper is approaching the end of a year abundant in satisfaction and tangible recognition in the form of five international awards and two overseas nominations (for the Record products Awards and Best of Year Awards, with results set to be announced in December), celebrating products and sets designed during the year.

Arcos is a star of the world scene, the latest seating collection designed by Studio Lievore Altherr and previewed in Milan during Design Week, winner of the Metropolis Likes NYCX Design and the HIP Honoree Award, as well as the Archiproducts Awards 2017 in Italy, within the “Contract” category. The collection draws inspiration from and reinterprets classical forms, redesigning the geometric allure of Art Deco style, distilling it to its essence.

The sound proofing panel Parentesit continues to turn heads (design: Lievore Altherr Molina), winner of the HD awards within the “Accessories” category. The Wall Panel version was awarded in New York.

Let us now shift our focus from industrial design to exhibit design: the set-up designed by Studio MAIO for the Salone del Mobile, Milan, received an Iconic Award from the German Design Council within the “Architecture – Event/ Exhibition” category and was selected from three finalists by the jury of the Salone del Mobile Award 2017 within the “best set-up” category.
