The iconic Polar modular sofa, designed by Pearson Lloyd for Tacchini, turns ten. To celebrate its decennial anniversary, the company decided to reproduce this masterpiece with exclusive white and blue upholstery.
Inspired by the shape of the ice blocks found in the Antarctic sea, Polar is a particularly flexible furniture system characterized by soft and irregular lines that can be combined to create different environments. Thanks to a rich range of compositional possibilities, you can delineate open or separate spaces, relax areas and convivial or intimate lounge areas.
The different types of seats and backrests (matched to a chair and an accessory that can be used as a chair or small table) can create rich and varied effects, emphasized by the color mix available.
As every product by Tacchini, Polar is manufactured according to the environmental and eco-sustainability parameters that the company has adopted for many years. Each piece is fashioned from materials coming from a distance of 50 km from the Brianzola headquarters, strongly decreasing the levels of pollution due to the use of transport means.
