Art and Design at the V&A Museum

Expectations are running high for British designer Ross Lovegrove, who took inspiration from the Devonshire Hunting Tapestries for his Transmission installation: a huge, spectacular, 30-metre-long three-dimensional tapestry made of Alcantara, a soft, versatile, sound-absorbing material that is easy to treat.

The Reflection Room installation by artist Flynn Talbot is on display in the Victoria&Albert Museum. The prestigious vaulted rooms in the 35-metre-long Prince Consort Gallery are illuminated at each end by blue and orange LED lights. The luminous effects are multiplied by 56 large reflective panels supplied by the Barrisol company.
