Alivar allure in a Mumbai home

The apartment furnished with Alivar furnishings and accessories, an Italian brand of international scope which has designed a project with a strong yet “light” feel, is located in Mumbai‘s new Upper Juhu area, within the Indian metropolis’ largest residential complex.

The living space consists of a spacious lounge, dining room, family room, three bedrooms with bathrooms and a suite, kitchen and balcony. Alivar furnishings harmonise through an aesthetic dialogue played out on neutral tones, ranging from white to turtle dove, cream and beige, and meticulously selected fine leather and fabrics.
Alivar’s sophisticated minimalism is expressed above all in the lounge, which welcomes hosts in a relaxation area which exudes comfort, in which two models designed by Giuseppe Bavuso reign supreme: the Land sofas, characterised by sober volumes, and the two Carol armchairs, which distinguish themselves through their high backs and enveloping body form, as well as their leather cover with blanket stitch. The coffee table with top in Poggio marble stands at the centre, whereas the Liuto dining table stands triumphantly at the end of the room, also by Bavuso, discretely exploiting spaces through a light silhouette and fumé crystal top. In virtue of these unique characteristics, Liuto can be easily matched with any type of seat, including the Denise armchair. The family room constitutes a smaller convivial area, confirming both colour and style choices of the lounge area through finishings and furnishings, from the sofa in Swing leather, to the Sirio set of round side tables.
Alivar’s sober luxury also pervades the bedrooms with two different models: the Maya bed, with a slightly rounded headboard with bevelled sides, and the Oasi bed, with its double presence in one of the rooms, with its characteristic, soft headrest.
The Wing lounge seats on the balcony are also by Alivar, in the woven rope version.
