Two crystal Barovier&Toso cascades in Tokyo

After first teaming up in 2014, the partnership between Barovier&Toso and Bulgari continues with a project involving Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin in the Bulgari Tower in Tokyo’s prestigious Ginza district.

Two stunning light installations featuring large Spinn components in crystal and 24 carat gold were created for the five-star restaurant and lounge bar, whose kitchen is manned by the talented Italian chef. With a diameter of two metres and a total length of over six, the installations pass through two floors of the tower, which is home to the largest Bulgari store in the world, emphasising the high ceilings with elegance and beauty.
Created by master glass-makers Barovier&Toso, the installations feature bulbs in the bambolina shape so typical of Murano’s glass-making traditions. The elements have been producing using the balotòn technique, with the finished effect creating sumptuous shapes and casting shadows over the restaurant.

The restaurant was designed by Antonio Citterio Patrizia Viel and Partners, who chose Barovier&Toso to help them furnish the Bulgari restaurant in London.
