WantedDesign @ Seaport Studios, not only events

6 and 16 Fulton Street are the new locations of WantedDesign in New York’s Seaport District, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Lower Manhattan, which overlooks the East River and is currently being redeveloped. On 9 May, two design stores were opened by Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, the co-founders of Wanted Design who, after experimenting with a pop-up market in Seaport Studios, decided to create a permanent destination for design enthusiasts and professionals. “We are excited about working with the Howard Hughes Corporation and contributing to the transformation of Seaport by bringing creativity and design culture to a place where we can share our passion for high-quality design, which we have discovered on our travels around the world.” The two stores, which are both on two floors and organized with a store-within-a-store concept featuring a café and bookstore, feature a selection of home and table accessories, stationery (16 Fulton, Design Market), fashion and leather accessories, lamps and furniture (6 Fulton, Home & Lifestyle) by a great number of international brands such as 1882, American Design Club, Cappellini, Design House Stockholm, desu design, Elodie Blanchard, Flaneur, Fort Makers, Jill Malek, Juniper, Malle London, Menu, Raleigh denim, Seletti, Vitra, Wren Lab, Yield, Kikkerland, 13&9, Abigail Murray, Brooklyn Candle Studio, Alessi, BiyBoe, History & Industry, L’Atelier du Vin, Menu, Morihata, Normann Copenhagen, Opinel, Puik Art, Sera and W&P.
