Designed by Lars Hinrichs, Apartimentum, in the Rotherbaum district of Hamburg, is Germany’s most technologically-advanced multi-family housing solution. It is a universe where everything is connected to the internet, where water, lights and sounds are controlled via Ethernet, via apps and through the latest technology.
The taps and fittings and bathroom and kitchen accessories are designed by international brands, such as Dornbracht, which created the IMO fittings in the bathrooms, the Tara Classic series in the kitchens and the Smart Water control system for the water supply in the shower (Big Rain shower head) and in the bath tub. This smart control system can connect to the internet and is fitted with Smart Tools control devices combined with the fittings. Meanwhile, Alape designed the solutions for the washbasin space with the A system init and A system addit furniture collections.
Another international brand, Kaldewei, was chosen for the bathroom spaces: its shower trays, bath tubs and sinks are combined with modern Smart Home technology. Conoduo and Puro Duo, the two enamelled steel bath tub models that combine comfort, aesthetics and functionality are distinguished by their comfortable backrests and the centrally-positioned drainage. Conoflat, an enamelled shower tray that is completely flush with the floor, provides comfort and freedom of movement.
