Christophe Delcourt teams up with Minotti

An atmosphere that was full of charm and unexpected elements characterized Home Anthology, which was presented by Minotti at the 2017 Salone del Mobile.
Entirely overseen by Rodolfo Dordoni, the collection features special layering of suggestions and styles that are expressed through an aesthetic language concentrated on the choice of high-quality materials and unusual combinations incorporating wood, stone, glass, ceramic, fabric and leather.

This year, for the first time, French designer Christophe Delcourt collaborated with Minotti, designing two collections.

The fluid, organic forms of tree trunks are the main source of inspiration for the Lou family of tables and coffee tables. The structures in this collection have a strong sculptural character and are made using a sophisticated cabinet-making technique that produces complex curves and veneers.

Meanwhile, the Fil Noir chairs are characterized by one element – wire – a sign of continuity and rigor.
In this collection, wire gives body and support to chairs and armchairs, producing a slender silhouette with a metal tube painted in matt black.
This highly rigorous choice is softened by the glossy gold-finished rings that characterize the corners of the chair. A wrap-around backrest and a soft seat harmoniously combine formal elegance and great comfort.

The Noor coffee table completes the range designed by Delcourt. Its plastic form is highlighted by the choice of sculptural ceramic material, which is produced by hand using an old technique.
Two cone trunks merge in a single form to create a piece whose character is also emphasized by the choice of two metal finishes: bronze and platinum.
