Not only business in Singapore

Four intense days at the 34th International Furniture Fair of Singapore, from the 9th to 12th March, for the 428 exhibitors but also for sector operators selected as visitors. As usual this year, in conjunction with the Asean Furniture Show, IFFS promises to consolidate and increase its role as the biggest exhibition and matchmaking platform in the furniture and design industry for the Asia Pacific area. It has enriched its proposal with a series of specifically targeted initiatives for producers, designers and buyers (of which 87 delegations are expected). The EU Pavilion represents the latest innovation, positioned in the new ‘rebranded’ NOOK Asia area, organised in partnership with European Union Gateway Business Avenues, as a venue for a vast selection of design companies from the European Union.

Made in Italy is successfully represented in the space curated for the first time by Giulio Cappellini, The Italian Hospitality, with companies such as ArteArredo, Boffetto, Cappellini – Cap Design, Ceramica Flaminia, Corà Domenico & Figli, FDC Fuda Division Contract, Gervasoni, Giorgetti, Icone Luce, Italian Kitchen Group, La Murrina, Pepe & C (Mosaico Digitale), Vanixa, Vibieffe 85 and Vismara Vetro. The Upholstery Pavilion is also a new addition to this year’s event, a pavilion dedicated to upholstered furnishings, lighting, fabrics, wallpaper, table accessories and collections, as is The White House, an exhibition dedicated to the theme of white in which the curator Nathan Yong presents a selection of pieces by  A. Garcia, Deesawat, Fashion Interiors, Geoffrey Marshall, Jatra Design, Maiori, Massimo Cappella, Mok Kam Por, Resource Decor, Sam & Sara, Square Roots, The Rug Republic, Triboa Bay Living, Wendelbo, and Woven+.

The event shall also be enriched by  a Virtual Reality Zone featuring furnishings by Commune, Danovel, Resource Decor, and Sam & Sara in digital showrooms, as well as a Design Stars Showcase, with proposal by 10 international designers, topped by a busy calendar of meetings and conference, for this growing event, increasingly focused on international collaborations.

IFFS/AFS are organised with the support of the ASEAN Furniture Industries Council (AFIC), DesignSingapore Council, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau, and SPRING Singapore.
