Privacy is sacred

Situated around two hours from Bangkok and looking out over the Gulf of Thailand, Hotel Bocage is quite unlike the rest of the local offering, which is saturated by oversized, resort-style hotels. Instead, it provides an intimate, sophisticated welcome based around privacy and exclusivity, the fruit of the work of architect Duangrit Bunnag and management company Louis T Collection

To determine the quality range of a hotel is the amount of additional ‘sewn’ on customers. You know. But the real difference, today, especially in the high-level reception, makes it the dimension of hospitality itself.

The contained and collected, very similar to the domestic measure, where the perceived emotions represent the true excellence of the living room. This is the line pursued by the Thai architect Duangrit Bunnag together with Louis T Collection , an entrepreneurial reality dedicated to luxury, for the new Hotel Bocage , the company’s second property in Thailand , a member of The Getz Group of Companies. Opened in early 2017 in the district of Hua Hin, the hotel is completely detached from the surrounding Asian realities of greatness and complexity and chooses the ‘small scale’ and the soft approach.

To make the numbers here is the authentic experience of pure simplicity. An intimate refuge, but always exclusive and refined, where privacy is the first, great surplus value. To the point of including among the offers direct access to the rooms through a smart phone, and exclude the presence of an internal restaurant in favor of room services and personalized dishes.

Giving the possibility to discover, at the discretion, the series of cafes and surrounding restaurants. For those wishing to explore the area, there is a personal transfer and tour service – in Mercedes Benz – in partner with Star Flag. To be able to pamper guests and follow them in silent abnegation, there are only 6 rooms available, ranging from 42 to 75 square meters, conceived in elegant open-plan rooms and suites with minimal style, which make the sea view their fifth scenic, of course, always in full privacy. But the stay becomes unforgettable thanks to the refinement of the furnishings, customized in every environment by the brands that bring the Made in Italy high in the world.

Cabina armadio Porro, Hotel Bocage
Porro, Hotel Bocage

First of all, Porro, which enters on tiptoe with the functionality of the Storage walk-in closet and its essential aerial structure supported by geometric profiles, chosen in the dark notes of the carbon oak or in the neutral shades but veined by the ash mock-up. At the center of the living area stands the contemporary style of the Ferro table designed by Piero Lissoni with a bronze effect, a Porro icon made of folded and welded sheet metal. In the bedrooms, there is the Offshore bedside table by Lissoni, a compact volume that contains the drawer and tray inside, and the double bed in fabric Lipla , by Jean Marie Massaud, with welcoming shapes.

Shaped like a soft shell that curves gently on the human profile, the chairs upholstered in leather H. Chair by Christophe Pillet frame the white table Join by Decoma Design with a circular top, alternating with the seating of Neve by Piero Lissoni. The Modern writing desk with drawer, suspended from a wall panel, becomes a light solution that combines the functions of a desk, a closed container and a shelf, lending itself to multiple possibilities of use. The Modern bench, finally, with a stylized foot with a stylized stroke, outlines the TV area by completing it.
