You have until 13 July 2017 to enter your designs by uploading them at www.infinitidesign.it and taking part in the competition that is also promoted this year by Infiniti, the Treviso-based company that has made eco-sustainable production one of the cornerstones of its business model. Requirements: you must be 35 or under, a designer or architect, you must believe in respecting the environment and of course… you must believe you have the “green factor”!
An initiative designed for young professionals so they can channel their fresh and innovative creativity in a challenge whose main protagonist is that most green of materials: wood. In fact, candidates will have to design and create a pair of products in eco-sustainable and recyclable wood, eliminating or minimising the use of other materials. Chair and stool or armchair and table which, in the event of a ‘podium finish’, will not only secure the winner € 5000 but may also be industrialised with the Infiniti Design brand.
The winner will be announced in September and will be chosen by a jury of experts which, as well as architect Stefano Boeri as chair, will include director of Interni Gilda Bojardi, head of design at H-Farm Timothy O’Connell and Marco Ceccato, sales and marketing director of OMP Group.
