Dubai in three steps by Moroso

Moroso takes part once again in Downtown Design Dubai with a triple presence in the city.
A large exhibition space at Downtown Design features the brand-new Armada seating collection by Doshi&Levien; Daniel Libeskind’s sculptural Gemma collection; and Pipe, the oversized seating by Sebastian Herkner.
In the entrance hall the protagonist is Sushi Collection designed by Edward Van Vliet, who, on Thursday 27 October, will hold a textile workshop in association with textile firms Kvadrat and Febrik.
At The Workshop Room, Design District, Building no. 5, the Dutch designer will be a member of a prestigious jury (among other members as Rue Kothari, fair director)who will choose the winner among the young architects and designers selected from the country’s leading design firms. The young creative talents will take part in a competition to upholster a miniature version of the iconic Take a Line for a Walk armchair by Alfredo Haberli for Moroso.

Second step, Junglemania, a display by Super Future Design starring Moroso’s M’Afrique Collection in a vibrant, colourful installation on a tropical theme.

Third appointment at Kvadrat Maharam’s showroom in Dubai with Doshi&Levien’s iconic Paper Planes armchairs which on this occasion will be upholstered with Kvadrat fabrics. The two designers will attend a cocktail reception on Wednesday 26 October.
