At Harrods, Giorgetti and Agnona are creating a lustrous atmosphere

The collaboration between Giorgetti and Agnona arises from a common language suffused with the exclusivity and sophistication of their respective fields. The resulting dialogue takes concrete form in Agnona’s first Home Corner at Harrods.  Giorgetti design provides the setting for the Home Collection, a setting that is as warm and enveloping as their fabrics.

The centrepiece is the Hug armchair, made of a wooden frame and soft upholstery.  “The Hug’s design came from an idea developed around the harmony of a curved line," explains the designer, architect Rossella Pugliatti. “The aesthetics appear naturally soft, yet painstakingly designed, far from stylistic compromises and only concerned with technical and aesthetic quality that, like everything that lasts, is timeless.”

The mixture of velvety fabric in the finest cotton and pure wool of the armchair is the outcome of close collaboration between the two brands. The colour in particular, beige-brown on the outside and flesh pink on the inside, was chosen for the occasion by Simon Holloway, Agnona’s Creative Director, taking inspiration from the nuances of the Home collection.
