Porada is growing in London

The London showroom by Porada has changed its look, becoming bigger like never before. A few years after the opening at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, the Italian brand increases its spaces to show customers a wider range of items, bolstered by the growing public interest on the furniture market.

A 130 sq m of exhibition space for news and iconic items, sharing the same elegance and the warm natural pattern of wood (especially Canaletto walnut), which is skillfully carved by specialized craftsmen.

All the company’s savoir faire and craftsmanship take place in the words of Porada’s designer Stefano Bigi, who has been cooperating with the company for years, designing several outstanding items.
Bigi has been interviewed by Ben Spriggs – deputy editor for Elle Decoration UK – during the Monday talk within Focus/16 programme.
By tracing a brief history of the brand he  entered the details of his collaboration with Porada and captivated the audience with his background, aesthetics, approach to design and influences that determined his style.
Bigi also technically discussed about the use of wood and its combination with other materials. Ultimately he adressed the success of Infinity table, an iconic item by Porada which fully expresses the company's philosophy thanks to the sinuous base finely carved that recalls a soft twisted ribbon made with Canaletto walnut.
