Catellani&Smith seduces Bergamo

Catellani&Smith is back in Bergamo for the appointment with I maestri del Paesaggio, lighting – for the second year – the garden of Casa Tresoldi in the heart of Città Alta.

From September 7 to 25, the space of Via Colleoni will host a bright and sonorous installation, in line with the  'Wild Landscape' leitmotif that characterizes all the events of the kermesse.
A new sound/light garden designed by Guido Parenzan of Catellani & Smith looks like a fascinating and unexpected place that slightly awakes when the sun goes down and the silence pervades the city.
The lights by Catellani & Smith discreetly emulate the beauty of natural elements and gently blend in the countryside.
The lights look like bright spikes, small mushrooms that mark the grass, a sort of frosted fruits or bright stones all made by metal, glass or resin, with different heights and sizes.
The items have been designed in collaboration with the lighting-master Maurizio Quargnale.
