The IDB Group focuses on digital with Mirco Cervi

Mirco Cervi has been appointed Chief Digital Officer of the Italian Design Brands Group, an Italian design holding company founded in May 2015 that owns brands such as Gervasoni, Meridiani, Letti&Co. and VeryWood.

«Bringing my experience and enthusiasm to the IDB project – remarks Mirco Cervi – is a great opportunity. We will work on strategy and training within the individual companies in order to standardize the tools and company culture. The first goal is to create synergies between the Group’s brands and the people who work for them, supporting the early adopters in order to accelerate together, growing and changing».

Giorgio Gobbi, CEO of IDB, comments: «With Mirco Cervi’s professionalism, IDB will be able to offer the companies that make up the Group and those that will enter it the possibility to address the opportunities and challenges of a global, increasingly digitalized market, in a highly competent and structured way. The role of Chief Digital Officer is becoming increasingly more strategic for the Group’s companies, which will benefit from the support of a manager dedicated to digitalization, who at the same time will have a broader look and perspective».

After obtaining his first degree in Industrial Engineering abroad, the second in Economy and Marketing and an MBA, Mirco Cervi specialized in Innovative Marketing, Digital Transformation and Innovation Management, working as a manager and consultant, nationally and internationally. For 15 years, he has been responsible for implementing innovative models of management and customer understanding.
He also holds seminars and lectures at universities and at the “Il Sole24Ore” business school in the area of Marketing and Digital Marketing, at specialized Master and Executive Master (MBA) level.
