The Outdoor M&O likes

Summer time is about to end and the next, same season is already awaited. Maison&Objet Paris anticipates and presents the new, outdoor proposals. A big  variety of brands such as Ethimo and Emu, Talenti and Gandiablasco animate the French platform.

Contrasting materials are matched in order to create originality; wood and cotton sided by wrought iron, steel and aluminium. Each actor chooses different applications. Ready to meet them?

Material mix is the key-feature of Emu: metal elements blend with rope, glass, eco-leather and technical textiles. Dock, 2017 collection born from the partnership with the rising designer Sebastian Herkener, shapes this trend. Inspired by the wicker basket’s graphic, the sofas modular system Dock shows aluminium basis and upholstered parts in technical textile.m Displayed also Vetta deck chair, Thor – revisitation of the traditional chair – and Terramare (for both indoor and outdoor), conceived in collaboration with Studio Chiaramonte/Marin. At the end, the stools Zahir and the small table Lyze.

Ethimo focuses on the new icons Esedra and Nicolette, respectively designed by Luca Nichetto and Patrick Norguet. A complete system of lounge furniture Esedra, the result of aluminium and teak. Nicoletta is an armchair where natural teak and an aluminium structure dialogue for versatility. Exhibited also Swing by Norguet – with new elements – the table Play and Clostra.

Multiple innovations proposed by Gandiablasco and Talenti. The first with Raw by Borja Garcia, Grapy by Kensaku Oshiro, Mix&Match by Flavia del Pra and then Waan by Dienke Dekker and Oryza by Odosdesign. The second one with Casilda, new line ideated by the Spanish designer Ramòn Esteve; also Eden and Cloe will animate the Parisian fair, expanded with tables and upholstered.
