Design, physics and culture meet each other; trait d’union is Caimi, protagonist of the Extreme: Alla ricerca delle particelle (Extreme: Finding particles) permanent exhibition within the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan.
In partnership with CERN and INFN – National Institute of Nuclear Phisics, the exposition is focused on both elementary particles and research projects by “explorers” of the infinitely small. The brand participates to the initiative as a technical sponsor, re-creating the “cosmic silence” thanks to the innovative Snowsound® technology. The Flap soundproof panels designed by Alberto and Francesco Meda (winners of the XXIV Compasso d’Oro ADI 2016) cover the Silence Room, establishing a protection similar to the screens used during physical tests.
Caimi Brevetti doesn’t only acoustically isolate the space, but embellishes it with the unique design of the product. Indeed, Flap is a line of panels in one material, totally recyclable and an example of innovation, versatility and heterogeneity.
