Fos Ceramiche returns to Miami

For the second year running, Fos Ceramiche’s marine patterns will captivate the audience at Maison&Objet Americas. The brand will wow visitors with the uniqueness, value and preciousness of its products, which are halfway between sculptures and furnishing accessories, and with the attention to detail of its traditional methods of workmanship. Without a doubt, the Faenza-based company is increasingly receiving international recognition.

Fossilia – one of the collections on display in Miami from 10 to 13 May – brilliantly testifies to the brand’s approach: its meticulous design evokes madrepore fossils in their minutest details, as the name suggests; the filaments within the decorative pattern form a skeleton for vases and bowls. Biscuit is not pure porcelain, but is interspersed with gold and platinum, which are woven through the products, establishing a valuable dialogue with the raw material.

Porcelain is also the basis for In altro i cuori, the line which, with four original works, has been expanded even further to create 45 beating hearts, each with its own pulse and unique appearance.  Hand-painted letters, numbers and figures adorn the creations designed by Pastore&Bovina, which are intended to establish a direct link with the observer. Fos Ceramiche’s vital organ is not only a precious furnishing element, it also entertains with its decorations which constitute a kind of message written in a universal language.

Piero Mazzotti and Andri Ioannou, the brand’s founders, are contributing to the spread of Made in Italy ceramics, which, thanks to their high quality, are causing great excitement in the US market.
