In occasion of Miart and Salone del Mobile 2016, the Galleria Carla Sozzani presents GUFRAM ON THE ROCKS. 50 Years of Design against the Tide.
The exhibition narrates the 50 years of Gufram through the most iconic projects. With a special set, few icons of Gufram occupy the space of the Gallery: the Bocca Sofa by Studio65, Cactus by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello, Pratone by Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso, Sasso and Sedilsasso by Piero Gilardi, Globe by Studio Job, Magnolia by Marcel Wanders, follow by many others.
Within the Gallery, two original projects ideate for the exhibition. Poltrona by Alessandro Mendini is a totemic seat, produced in 1980 and now realized in “true-false” Carrara marble.
The artist Kris Ruhs will preview the scultura morbida in “true-false” rusted iron, with the typical irony of Gufram.
