The absolute iconicism of Versace Home

Furnishing solutions for the living, dining and sleeping areas are the stars that take the spotlight on the new set staged by Versace Home. Four new stylish lines, in keeping with the company’s standards, enhance the collection designed by Art Director Donatella Versace, exclusively for Salone del Mobile 2016. There are countless new developments when it comes to Versace: Mesedia is an iconic chair with a contemporary design that is shaped like a jellyfish. Made of cast iron, it is available in five colour variants and is the first solution with an outdoor finish.

Les Etoiles De La Mer, Vasmara, Gvardian and Via Gesù Palazzo Empire are four elegant, recognizable innovations that recall the fundamental features of the fashion brand.

Taking inspiration from the Rosenthal meets Versace porcelain collection – presented last January – Les Etoiles De La Mer opts for precious materials such as Fior di Pesco marble, fine wood (like Mercury), Nubuck leather and printed velvets, for the creation of furniture that can enrich any bedroom, living room or dining room. The textiles in the collection feature marine motifs in delicate, sophisticated colors.

The Vasmara collection presents similar products, which evoke exoticism and primitivism, featuring zebra and animal prints, fine leather and golden silk jacquard. The cabinet bar – available in eight different kinds of wood – and the coffee table with a zebra-striped marble top are just two examples of Versace’s unique products.

The brand’s historic logo is apparent in the details of Vasmara, as well as in Gvardian and Via Gesù Palazzo Empire. The first looks to the future and outer space, while the second is an established collection that has undergone significant expansion. The new creations, which feature geometric shapes, also include the V design, making them truly recognizable.
