Poliform and Wanders still together

Poliform and Marcel Wanders once again together to take on new design challenges. After the success of Mad Chair armchair (presented at the Salone del Mobile 2013), the designer expands the collection, with new armchairs, chaise longue and other accessories, preserving its main feature made of soft flexuous forms with a unique style.

The living area in its role dedicated to comfort increases the proposal of upholstered pieces with striking presence and big personality thanks to the introduction of innovative fabrics that enhance the design. For example, Mad Queen, a low armchair defined by a continuous, enveloping seat, robust, diagonal legs in oak and quilted finish. Mad King follows the same design features, with a streamlined backrest that assumes a new look determined by the asymmetry of the arrangement: one of the armrests can be replaced with an useful wooden tray. The same asymmetry effect can be admired in Mad Chaise Longue that recalls pop icons of modern design. Mad Dining Chair conveys to the chair element all the peculiarities of Marcel Wanders’ collection. The accessories are not less interesting: the exclusive sign of the diagonal legs is repeated in Mad Coffee Tables and in the Mad Dining Table, a large table for eight with rounded lines that play on the contrast between the lightness of the top, that looks almost floating in the air, and the solid, robust frame.
