London inspires Tom Dixon for Cementiles Collection

The new Cementiles Collection signed by Tom Dixon for Bisazza is caractherized by a contemporary design with a pop graphic style inspired by London’s red clay bricks, cracked pavements and pebble dash walls.

“London provides all the inspiration I need for this new collection of surfaces; the building blocks and the textures of this thousand-year-old city are imprinted in my mind – says Tom Dixon – Bricks of red clay, cracked pavements and pebble dash walls, the signatures of a crumbling capital in constant re-invention are reworked in a graphic, pop art style to suit the simplicity demanded by the century-old tile manufacturing process”.

Dixon developed a total of 12 patterns that are each available in a limited range of colour options. The square tiles have dimensions of 20 by 20 centimetres, while the hexagonal designs are 20 centimetres by 23 centimetres.

The other lines of the Cementiles collection are signed by Jaime Hayon, Carlo Dal Bianco, Paola Navone and India Mahdavi.
