Gufram and the Italian radical design

At Downtown Design,  Gufram presents for the first time to the Middle East market the Italian radical design, a cultural phenomenon of which the company is historically recognized as one ofthe most important representatives.

In the spaces of the Design District, the public can admire iconic pieces like the Bocca sofa, designed in 1970 by Studio 65, and the unconventional Pratone seating system, besides the legendary Cactus coat hanger, designed in 1972 by the designers Guido Drocco and Franco Mello. To emphasize the continuity between the past and the future, the company will also present the Globe wardrobe designed by Studio Job and the chair Bounce by Karim Rashid, two of the most recent projects paying tribute to the innovative spirit of the company.
