Listone Giordano and Urquiola. The decorative vocation of wood floors

After the first appearance at Fuorisalone last April, Listone Giordano presents at Cersaie Biscuit, the new collection designed by Patricia Urquiola. The free composition of lines and shapes characterizes the natural decorative vocation of wood floors whilst rediscovering the sinuous configuration of the material.

Biscuit is the output of an in-depth analysis of the traditional parquet fitting systems thus interlacing the wood floor’s historical legacy with the contemporary style. The rounded edge modifies the usual linear shape of the board endowing it with a strong personality.

The result is a woof flooring variety, each one relating to a different language but with a cutting-edge prospective. Inlay, mosaic, herringbone, brick pattern: whatever the pattern you choose, Biscuit looks like the flooring turns into a rich interwoven and overlapping fabric.

The fluid shape is finally highlighted by the curved line of the plank’s surface giving a sense of further softness to the natural material.
