Cer-Stile. Grand tour of the Italian lifestyle at Cersaie

Now an integral part of Cersaie, the International ceramic ware event for architectural projects and bathroom furnishings, the Cer-Stile exhibition curated by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli presents new concepts of fine living whilst valorising the beauty of certain typical Italian landscapes.

As an ideal follow-up to the Cer-Sea – Italian Style Beach Concept event held during  Cersaie 2014, this exhibition opens up a window onto new scenarios, in a sort of imaginary journey up and down the peninsula. An authentic Grand Tour of the Italian way of life, Cer-Stile represents a free-wheeling exploration of new applications in contexts such as mountain locations, coastal areas and the spaces used for connecting people and places, such as stations, underground railways or old railway depots.

The curators set out to recount Italy through an itinerary mapped out over 1,500 sq m and consisting of three stopovers: from the Mountain Pavilion to the Seaside, arranged in a horseshoe-shaped layout and interconnected by a time/space tunnel.

The exhibition is made up of highly imaginative, surreal and ironic scenarios of iconic locations, real-life settings backed up by products and solutions from leading companies of various sectors, from fashion to ceramic ware, from furnishing to surface coverings, from sports equipment to bathroom fittings and even including food, cosmetics and textile furnishings, represented by such names as Alce Nero, Vitra, Molteni, Cordivari, Technogym, Duravit Italia, Valli Arredobagno, Wall&Deco, Glass 1989,  Emilceramica, Eterno Ivica,  Hom, Idea, Julia Marmi, Messori, Minacciolo, Mirage, Oikos, Oli and Made a Mano.
