The evolution of Opera Contemporary

Founded six years ago from an idea of Angelo Cappellini, a leader in classic furniture manufacturing, Opera Contemporary has rapidly penetrated the global market with complete furnishing solutions characterized by a luxurious flair.

In recent years the brand has experienced an important evolution in terms of the number of collections featured in the catalog. Since its origin the brand has always presented new solutions, finishes and coatings during the Salone del Mobile. From an initial range of proposals focused mainly on sofas, with Dimitri and Ludmilla collections the company evolved and began to offer complete environments in constant grow.

The main novelty of 2015 is the introduction of the glossy finish that enhances exotic woods like cerejeira. Another innovation is the use of an original Nubuck leather with glitter to upholster the three-seater sofa and armchairs in Raimond living room.

This year the headboard of Tosca bed has been resized and matched to the new Ludmilla bedside tables with drawers in ebony oak finish and Kenya marble top. These night tables are designed to fill the empty spaces at the sides of Butterfly bed, with its characteristic large and sinuous headboard.
