Giorgio Collection and the Art Deco spirit

Coliseum is the newly released collection from Giorgio Collection designed by Giorgio Soressi, now being previewed for the first time at the 2015 Salone del Mobile in Milan.

WIth references Art Deco, the collection is characterized by the curves and bulges present on the different elements that give a particular softness to the environments. For Coliseum was chosen for the prestigious Brazilian Santos rosewood with a high-gloss brushed polyester finish.  The flame of this wood is enhanced by finishing in the sunshine proposal on top of tables, dressers, chest of drawers and bedside tables.

The details in burnished steel brushed illuminate and characterize the collection, while the logo with the stylized lion's head is inserted with elegance on the different elements to emphasize the strong brand identity.

The Coliseum collection consists of a living room, a bedroom suite, and a dining room proposal.

The living room presents two sofa models, armchairs and a chaise longue supplied in nubuck leather, velvet, velour or suede fabric, with a base in burnished steel. One of the two sofas and the armchairs have inserts in Brazilian rosewood.

The bedroom interior of the collection presents a bed with an impacting headboard constructed in a geometric pattern: the velvet covering its prismatic elements and base accentuates the three dimensional nature of the composition. The frame rests on a burnished steel base.

The possibility to extend the headboard horizontally by means of a lateral wall panel in wood represents an element of originality that confers a dynamic touch.

An elegant tone on tone houndstooth check defines a chaise longue presented in deep-button upholstery.

The solution may be accessorized with bedside tables and tallboys in exquisite Brazilian Santos rosewood, illuminated by trims in burnished steel.

The dining room suite presents a luxurious rectangular shaped table in Brazilian Santos rosewood. Available in three sizes it boasts a sunburst veneer top which enhances the particular features of this wood.  The dynamic element of the structure is an impacting x-shaped base in burnished steel.

The chairs, supplied with or without armrests, are deep-button upholstered on the seat backs, in fine nubuck leather, velvet, velour or suede fabric.

A buffet and a glass cabinet, characterized by a rounded profile and fitted with LED lighting, enhance the dining room.

The dining suite may also be coordinated with two consoles, one in Brazilian rosewood and another in bronzed steel with a black/gold Madagascar marble top.

The collection is further enhanced by a wide range of furnishing accessories which complete this total look proposal: the chandeliers, consoles, mirror elements, rugs and accessories, specifically studied for each room.
