A carpet inspired by Picasso’s artwork Guernica for Désirée

During Salone del Mobile 2015, Gruppo Euromobil displayed at its booth the interpretation of Pablo Picasso’s artwork “Guernica” by Giorgio Celiberti.

Measuring 2,26 m in height and 8,50 m in length, this impressive artwork is titled “Omaggio a Picasso” and it was reproduced on a carpet by Désirée.

The carpet was manufactured using the handtufting technique. Made with 100% New Zealand wool and with a hypoallergenic and antibacterial base in natural latex, it features a combination of four colours: white, black, pearl and grey.

This shows the strong relationship between the company and the artistic scene and its deep influence on every Euromobil’s furnishing proposal.

During the last 30 years Gruppo Euromobil sponsored over 400 exhibitions in Italy and worldwide. Since 2007 it is main sponsor of Arte Fiera in Bologna, one of the most important events for modern and contemporary art in Europe. Furthermore the company  founded the international award “Gruppo Euromobil Under 30”, bestowed on a young artist exhibiting at the trade fair.
