Porada e Anima Domus. Elective affinities

A perfect harmony of intents and values. This is the bond uniting Porada and Anima Domus, one of the most renowned showrooms in Florida, a prestigious showcase of modern and contemporary Italian furnishings. A collaboration that started back in ’99 when the first Aventura store was opened (in the Miami-Dade county), which has grown in importance and strength down through the years and has recently been crowned during the first edition of Maison&Objet Americas (participated by Porada).  The international appeal exercised by this event, with its predilection for the most original forms of design, has presented the ideal occasion on which to open a new space entirely dedicated to the Italian brand, hence Porada presented by Anima Domus, within the new MiMo showroom set in the art district of Wynwood.  A design approach, incidentally, which is a new experience for Anima Domus. While the new location hosts the latest furnishing proposals from Porada – including the Infinity and Jean tables, the Atlante sideboard collection and the Arena sofas -, the Aventura showroom offers a corner dedicated to bedroom solutions with chests of drawers, bedside elements and the new Boheme bed.

The Porada furnishing taste, expressed in the exquisite workmanship applied to solid wood and canaletto walnut, together with its lifestyle of understated refinement, meets with a favourable response from the American public. “I believe that the appreciation of this brand on the US market goes well beyond any single product – says Marconi Naziazeni founder and CEO of  Anima Domus – The collections show how wood is part of the firm’s history and culture.  What Americans love is Porada’s exceptional craftsmanship, as well as its artistry in creating original pieces that combine design and functionality”. Words that are endorsed by the widespread presence of the brand, thanks to an in-stock programme and a consolidated network of distributors in all the main cities of the USA and South America, “which represent our company’s fifth market”, confirms export manager, Mauro Nastri. New York, Monterey, Mexico City and Panama  are just some of the recent openings. «So far, we have always implemented close personal ties based on shared values – concludes Marconi – Like Anima Domus, Porada is a family company with a strong moral component, intent on valorising the excellence of design”.
