Sofaform. All the forms of comfort

The start of a new chapter in the great book of design is dedicated to a new company that is young and dynamic, one which has been muscling in on the vast furnishing scene for less than a year, with a clear-cut identity and a well-defined mission: to give form to comfort with the accent on maximum functionality.  We refer to Sofaform, an Italian-French company specialized in the production of transformable sofa beds. The firm has put together the best of its two birthplaces: the quality materials and manufacturing processes that are a prerogative of Italy – like the designers who have signed the products -, combined with a taste that often recalls elegant Parisian atmospheres. The manufacturing philosophy is inspired by new metropolitan trends in which space is always at a premium and furnishing versatility is a must.

«Our products have been studied to optimize the living space.  It will be more and more necessary in the future to make recourse to furniture and upholstered elements that save space, particularly in the world’s great metropolises where square metre property prices are sky-high – explains Ivan Galimberti, administrative partner of the firm – Despite being new to the business, we have already had a most favourable feedback from international markets, thanks to our medium-high quality sofas and competitive prices. We use the best mechanisms in our sofa engineering, mattresses made from latest generation polyurethanes and advanced manufacturing techniques».

Within a product offering comprising over 40 models it is possible to choose from numerous sizes, components, trims and upholstery covers, shapes and upholstery fillings. All expressed in a contemporary and clean-lined design. The Santos sofa, characterized by a square linear shape and the Venezia model with its appealing design have already become bestsellers.

An overview of the latest proposals from Sofaform is being showcased at the Salone in Milan where, alongside the novelties with their refined details and workmanship – the firm is also presenting a well-defined display concept it intends to promote in all of its future sales points, now that it has already been tried and tested in the two Parisian showrooms. «We have the exclusive distribution rights for the Convertible de France format – Ivan Galimberti goes on to say – which contemplates a complete furnishing formula in a style that is warm and very French, in which upholstered furniture is teamed up with rugs, accessories, lighting fixtures and various objects. In this way, we are able to offer an immediate solution for future partners intending to set up a corner store, which also serves to reinforce our brand image on an international level».
