Asnaghi Interiors. A classic style without frontiers

A maze of new ideas have been deployed by Asnaghi Interiors in preparation for this edition of the Furniture Exhibition. The trail unfolds between new stylistic trends and design prospects, towards a multitude of furnishing solutions.

A cornerstone of the traditional furnishing style typical of the Brianza district, the company has also incorporated a more contemporary spirit by presenting the Asnaghi Interiors Design collection for the first time:  an assertive and avant-garde proposal that flirts with the emerging furnishing trends requested by a new target in search of modern classicism. In terms of style, this translates into a linear design devoid of fancy carvings, together with the use of quality materials (such as polished rosewood and zebrawood, or Nubuck leather upholstery).

A foretaste of an exhaustive catalogue entitled Pure – dedicated entirely to this line and previewed during the Salone – is offered by the trade fair event, in the form of some highly representative interiors (office, lounge and bedroom), whose common denominator is a research into a look of composed elegance.  This understatement transpires from the formal sobriety of these elements but not, on the other hand, from the meticulous attention to detail, evident in the elaborate workmanship of the headboard and the base of the Corallo bed: traditional deep-button upholstery is given a more contemporary interpretation to suggest a somewhat quilted effect.

«The world market is shifting towards a fresher and more contemporary furnishing concept, one that is particularly appreciated in the Arab States, such as Qatar, Oman and the Emirates; markets we intend to approach once more with our new products», explains Art Director Gianluca Asnaghi.

The new collection – which also comprises a line of carpets specifically designed for this purpose – does not obscure the previous ones, but coexists with them.  In fact the vast collection bearing the signature of La Boutique has been extended even further (with the publication of the third L3 catalogue),  having originally been conceived for prestigious contract and bespoke projects, in which each and every product may be personalized and coordinated with all other elements making up the interior: among the most outstanding new releases for 2015, are the Magnolia dining room, completely inlaid and made from the finest burr mahogany; or the Ninfea bedroom suite, in which wall frescoes spill over onto the surface of the products in a never-ending story on the natural landscape theme.

So as not to disappoint those customers who remain faithful to a more traditional style of classic furniture,  Asnaghi Interiors presents Viola living room with its pure gold leaf finish, and the elaborately carved Calla dining room.

Finally, don’t miss the two little gems of this Salone, the leisure area crowned by a table football  set entirely made from wood and a “museum” corner displaying three antique elements in tortoiseshell, which have been especially restored for the occasion and are part of a collection of unique pieces.
