Gruppo Euromobil. Made in Milan

More than 700 points of sale in Italy and all over the world: in Europe, Russia, China, Japan, Korea, India and the U.S.; contract projects, ranging from residential and hospitality accommodations to institutions, in the main capitals of four continents. Over the years, the Euromobil Group has been able to make a name for itself on the world markets, making its international presence into a strong point, a key consideration in its growth strategy. 2015 marks a significant stage as the Group returns to play a “home match” with excellent results.

In Milan, the capital of design, the furniture brand conquers star roles at the two events that will enliven the city during the coming months: International Furniture Show e Expo 2015. This is the context, sparkling with excitement and extended cosmopolitanism, where the Group, headed by the Lucchetta brothers will take the limelight with its totally Made-in-Italy savoir faire.

Starting with the rendezvous dedicated to furniture and design. In a warm and welcoming exhibition setting, with a strong theatrical impact, the Group showcases its three brand: the Zalf furniture lineup – living, night, children’s and teenage bedrooms, office – Euromobil for the kitchen and the living area, and Désirée – sofas, armchairs, beds and accessories. Thus, the company can rely on a full system to propose Total Home Design, an overall solution for the home, where the different environments are mutually connected, and so are the products from the different brands, which supplement one another.

Zalf creations are exalted by the exclusive texture of the eco-friendly finish in thermo structured elm, a warm and sturdy surface, coordinated with a stylish cashmere colour: this is exemplified by Combi System or by Picà, a walk-in closet proposed with a wider range of accessories and colours (including titanium finish). Zalf proposes a rich choice of new creations for the living area (such as the delicately designed Brucke cupboards) and for the night area, with children’s bedrooms. The eclectic living solutions by Euromobil, made of precious wood species available with matte and glossy lacquer finishes, are the ideal match for the well-characterised sofas, the elegant armchairs, the sinuous beds and the furnishing complements from the Désirée brand. Dominating the padded furniture lineup are Rollking; the functional Boog and stylish and contemporary sofa Nathan, with refined details, precise proportions, soft, comfortable padding.

From the formally organised space of the trade fair we move on to the dynamic approach of the Fuorisalone, a series of events that take place during the Design Week, to bring the best in the sector to the most creative districts of the city. In this context, the Euromobil Group presents pieces of furniture designed by Marc Sadler (such as modular bookcase LZ and sofa Savoye) and by studio Setsu&Shinobu Ito, which takes up the design challenge of quality relaxation furniture, proposing Wing, an armchair, Shellon, a bed (with its headboard arranged in irregular “folds”) and bookcase Dabliu, produced by Zalf, made of metal rebar and wooden shelves, with matching console table and chair.

Thus, the Euromobil Group reveals its strong identity: an Italian company, expressing excellence while carrying on the historic tradition of Italian design. This is the reason why the company was selected as official suppliers of all the furniture for the household spaces of the Expo Village in Cascina Merlata, the large area to the north-east of Milan, contiguous with the Expo exhibition site, which will host the Universal Exhibition from May to October 2015. Within an extended area, seven buildings have been constructed, adding up to a total of 397 apartments. Other four towers will be built after Expo event, for a total of 690 apartments. It will be the greatest ever Social Housing project to be implemented in Italy, to be developed according to the best practices of environmental sustainability: starting March 2015, for a year, the structures will be used provisionally as an Expo Village to accommodate the delegations and staffs from the Countries participating in the Exhibition; after that, the facilities will be rented or sold at special prices to young couples, single-income families, university students, elderly people.

This project encloses and expresses all the principles that have always guided the Group: attention to the environment and social issues, unwavering attention to current affairs and the world at large, without ever forgetting the quality and the tradition built into processes and methods embodying Italy’s best design skills.
